The Level 1 course is exercises suitable for beginners and rehabilitation application for a wide range of conditions.
Each of our Clinical Pilates courses covers Reformer, Trap table and Wunda chair. This course covers Clinical Pilates exercises for early stage rehabilitation through to intermediate level with focus on clients with injuries, movement dysfunction, hypermobility (genetic or aquired) and other pathologies that have impeded their physical capacity.
Course content
This course covers over 75 exercises on Reformer, Trap table and Wunda chair. This course contains:-
- Brief history of Pilates
- Grading system for core strength
- Cueing & Pilates posture
- Instruction and performance by participants of each exercise and discussion about clinical applications
Assessment includes
- Your application and performance on the course
- Delivering a one hour class session to another participant – assessed on teaching skills, demonstration technique and cueing.
